If there was one fundamental flaw with these drinks it would be that they are dangerous if you overuse them. Now I know that is not saying very much because almost anything can be dangerous if it is overused; candy bars, sodas, cheeseburgers and yes even some vitamins. So what makes this general knowledge so important when applied to energy drinks? It is simple. Energy drinks are widely marketed to people who kind of need to overuse them. People that are constantly under high physical and mental strain and need that energy boost throughout the day. Construction workers, food servers, architects, athletes, you name the job and the odds are that someone there, probably many people, will be looking for a second wind in a can.
Most energy drinks are by no means "good" for you. But like so many other things in life if you moderate it and give your body a chance to process it the negative effects should be nothing but rumors to you. The day you go down the road of drinking unhealthy energy drinks 2 or 3 times a day however is the day you run the risk of becoming a statistic. Do not run the risk of hurting your health by consuming large amounts of these unhealthy sources of energy.
