There are many times in one's life that you need support. It starts when you are born. Some people grow and learn to move through life with more support than others but it is vital that everyone has a support system.
A support system can look very different to people. Support can be in the form of books, articles, money, or people. In times of need it is important to search for what gives you the most support. One of the main support systems that can be powerful is a support system full of people. It is ok to lean on people. People like to feel needed and they want to help.
There are certain events that happen in your life that will be beneficial to have a support system like, marriage, having a baby, divorce, and death. Who do you go for to help you through these times? Some ways to identify if someone is being supportive is to feel their heart. Many people want to protect you from your feelings of fear, pain, confusion, and loneliness. If someone is truly being supportive they will allow you to go through it. The only way you can move through these feelings is to deal with them.
Dealing with feelings around being a new parent or being in a new relationship can be very confusing. Some people are fearful or even sad as they are giving up a life they used to live to create a new one. If you are supporting someone going through some life changing event it is best to listen, be compassionate, find what it is they are in need of and then empower them to reach up and out and gain it. Life's events are full of growth opportunities if you are just pushing the feelings down or away they will only resurface. Feelings are our emotional guidance point. When you know what you feel you can move up into a better feeling place or if you are at the top of that point, learn to stay there.
Using a support system will help you gain clarity of your feelings. Support systems are not meant to take away what you are here to learn they are here to support. That is it. Just like anything in life you have to do the work. You have to learn to take what lessons are to be learned and release the rest. Your support systems assist you in that. It is your choice to have the feelings you are having. Yes, that is bold statement, but you do have a choice. The choice is dealing with what you feel, learn, take what is needed and release the rest. A beautiful life will emerge and you will have a support system to thank!
Remember, the people you use as a support system will also need you. If you learn how to move through the difficult times in your life with grace, you will be able to empower others to do the same. Being there for someone is a true gift and asking someone to be there for you is a great compliment! Learn what it is you are to be taking from the event, release the rest, and most of all be in full gratitude for the wonderful people in your life.

A 2004 Gallup pole indeed shows that people with a higher income have more friends, which speaks to the symbiotic relationship between money and friends. I Like My Bra!
Now that I've hit a half century in my time here on this wonderful planet, I tend to look back over the years and compare the infamous "then and now" scenarios. This is called reflection and it's a good thing. Frankly, I wish more people would take the time to do it because I believe this is where we find common sense lurking behind the tree or hiding in the bushes. While common sense is becoming harder to find, I'm sure it still exists; it's just that there aren't that many people looking for it of late. For example, let's take Alice Paul's Equal Rights Amendment. In the late 60s and early 70s when this was being pushed throughout the country, women were publicly standing up and speaking their mind like never before. They got so excited; they were ripping off their bras and waving them in the air as if that somehow added emphasis to their words. I never understood that because I liked my bra. During these years I was an impressionable young girl, finding my way as most do in their tweens and teens. I didn't even know there a thing called inequality out there. I grew up in a house full of girls so it wasn't prevalent in my life. I never felt lesser than anyone else or that I couldn't be whatever I decided I wanted to be, but evidently, there was that sort of thing going on. I was exposed to a lot of this when I was a member of the local YWCA. Much of what the "hippies" were doing was being shown to us there through the various programs offered and leaders in charge. Because of my involvement with these programs, I was very much a part of this culture. I joined the cause of equal rights for women and participated in much to advance it in my grand state of Maine. After all, why shouldn't we get equal pay for the same position or be considered for the same jobs as men. Who cares if it's a woman or a man in the job as long as the job is done well? And, why can't a woman have a career and be a Mom? Who says our life has to be limiting? God didn't make us unequal; He just assigned one of us with the responsibility in the end and what is wrong with that? There is one that sits at the top of every organization, institution and culture on this planet, so why wouldn't there be one that sits at the top of each family, one that in the end, makes the tough decisions like any CEO or president? Back to the reason for this blog post. The equal rights for women's movement was all about treating women as equals in pay and position. It was good for a woman to have a career and move up the corporate ladder. Many brave women had the honorable privilege to be first in many areas such as corporate, entrepreneurial and political. These worlds, once dominated by men were being invaded by intelligent women everywhere and because of their courage; women in America today are the freest in the world. Being a mother and having a full time job was becoming the norm and we applauded those that took this path. I have walked this path, though not very successfully at times and had decided long ago that it was not for me. Working from home is what works best for me and that is where I stand today. I believe the equal rights movement was good for our country in many ways. A Woman can now make a career choice that's right for her, or she can choose to stay home and raise her children the way she chooses. This is a good thing.

Cooking may be the last thing on many (uni) students' minds. The fresher's culture in particular provides ample persuasion in the form of L1 drinks, 7-stop bar crawls, clubbing, house parties and of course sleeping all of that off, in preference of freshly cooked food. It probably doesn't help that campus supermarkets are often expensive and probably not the best stocked (least so for Indian groceries). Some students may just not know how to cook.

• You may find yourself homesick. Although you may have been bursting to get away from home, being at home does have its virtues; at least you get a good home cooked meal.
• If you live of junk food, you will gain weight!
• You may find the vegetarian options limiting, depending on where you have gone to university or you may simply yearn for Indian food which is perhaps harder to source, depending on where you are.
• A diet that's poor in nutritional value will leave you feeling tired and lacking lustre, you may find it hard to stay awake and concentrate in those lectures. Then of course there are the spots and greasy hair that may come as a result of a bad diet
• Cooking vegetarian Indian food in your student home will be a great way to impress people and make friends. The very first meal I cooked for my now husband was when I was a fresher; channa masala (and I used tinned chickpeas).
Here I give you 12 delectable, really easy and speedy recipe ideas for vegetarian Indian dishes. Whether you are a student or a concerned parent, these ideas are real winners. I will also give you an idea of the basic spices to keep in the cupboard (don't worry; they have quite a long shelf life!)
Curry out of a can
Tinned Legumes and pulses can be stored in the cupboard and it's really easy to whip up a curry with them. Try Butterbeans ; fry off onions , garlic, cumin, and a sprig of curry leaves in a couple of tablespoons of oil, add turmeric and salt, add chilli powder, turmeric, coriander and cumin powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala and half a can of coconut milk. Then grate in 10g of ginger. Mop it up with some bread...its heart-warming.
Sweet corn curry is a popular favourite. Using the same spices as the butterbean curry, but this time, minus the coconut milk and add a couple of dark red chopped tomatoes and a handful of ground nuts to the mix. It's very Moorish. You can create more or less gravy simply by adding water. I like it quite dry with some yogurt.
Chickpea curry is a classic. I like to add a few twists to it, like spinach wilted in at just before I take it off the heat, or maybe some shallow fried tofu, or soya mince. I like to add a couple of teaspoons of dried fenugreek leave to chickpea curries; some people recognise this as a general curry aroma. If you want to avoid any of the spice-adding decisions, you can buy channa masala spices in a box from Indian grocers.
Fresh quickie Curries
Yes, fresh Indian ingredients can be hard to source, but that doesn't mean to say we can't use widely available vegetables to make a curry. Here is a great one for detox; spinach, dill and fenugreek curry. It's so aromatic and easy on the tummy. It contains Iron and fibre. All you do is chop then up, fry off a large onion and couple of spring onions in cumin, mustard seeds and a little garlic and then and all of your ingredients with a couple of chopped tomatoes. Spice with coriander powder, cumin powder, chilli powder and turmeric. Cook in on a low flame for about 15mins and then sprinkle 1/2 tsp of garam masala at the end.
Here is another cheat, inspired by a traditional Gujarati recipe. Potato curry in thick, rich gravy. Take a mixing bowl; add one can of chopped tomatoes, 70g of coarsely ground unsalted peanuts, 1/2 cup of gram flour, then add 1/4 tsp turmeric, salt and chilli powder to taste, 1 tsp each of coriander powder and cumin powder and 1/2 tsp of garam masala and 1 1/2 tsp of dried fenugreek leaves. The next bit is magic, all you do, is fry off an onion in some cumin and a sprig of curry leaves and then add a couple of cloves of garlic. Then add about 700g of baby new potatoes and coat them in the oil. Then add the mixture of tomatoes, gram, peanuts and spices. Add water to cover, and cook until the potatoes can be pierced easily.
There are other simple ideas that can be made from readily available vegetables, such as cauliflower curry (don't add any water), aubergine, cabbage (again, no water), or a simple avial which is made with julienned vegetables with desiccated coconut and curry leaves. Although many recipes call for traditional vegetables like tindori, you can make this with carrots, courgettes, baby corn.
I love the versatility of aubergines. I have three varieties in my fridge at the moment and I got them all from my local supermarket (not an Indian one!). With the largest aubergine, I'm going to roast it, scoop out the flesh and mash it a little with a fork. I'm then going to fry off onions, garlic, green chillies and a then soften a couple of fresh tomatoes and add in just salt and turmeric and a squeeze of lemon. With the Japanese style aubergines, I'm just going to make two slits opposite directions upwards from the base and then use the thick potato recipe with the aubergines, just with a nice helping of coriander. With the baby aubergines, I am going to half and then roast them and then submerge them in spicy tomato gravy.
Using Pasta
Pasta is also really versatile and you can stock up on it. I've heard many people say that they could eat pasta every day of the week...but for that, you'd need lots of inspiration...including some Indian inspiration I reckon.
One of our family favourites is what I call 'samosa filling pasta'. A couple of medium potatoes chopped, 1/2 cup of peas, a small carrot, maybe 1/2 cup of sweet corn kernels and a very large onion make the basis of the mix, spiced in chilli powder, turmeric, curry leaves and cumin seeds and a squeeze of lemon. Simply add in your pasta and there you have a meal for at least 2-3. Sometimes, I add cheese on top, and funnily enough, it works.
You could try shallow frying some vegetables like 1/2 head of a small cauliflower, some sweet potato and a cup of peas and then adding a gram flour and yogurt mix (400g of yogurt and 2 tbsp of gram flour). Just add some curry powder and that's how easy it is.
Indian Sandwich Ideas
One of my favourite sandwich recipes requires investing in some chat masala. It's not hot, but it's punchy and brings life to salads and sandwiches. I really recommend a 3 layer sandwich. Peel a potato and then slice it thickly. Boil until cooked, drain and cool. Then use ingredients like a little chilli sauce, cheese, cucumber, tomatoes. If you have some coriander, grind together a couple of handfuls with a couple of chillies, a little lemon and salt and a tbsp of water. Spread this on the bread...it's amazing. This sandwich throws my mind to the streets of Mumbai...anyway...Layer the vegetables on toasted bread, sprinkling chat masala gently.

I Love Italian Regional Cuisine - Pairing Piedmont Cuisine With Red Wine
Piedmont is home to some of Italy's finest red wines including Barolo which calls itself "The king of wines and the wine of kings." Piedmont was an integral part of the French Kingdom of Savoy whose capital was Turin, the present capital of Piedmont. Subsequently Turin became the capital of the Kingdom of Piedmont-Sardinia whose official name was Kingdom of Sardinia, Cyprus, and Jerusalem, Duchy of Savoy and Montferrat, Principality of Piedmont. With all these influences Piedmont it's no surprise that Piedmont is home to some great food.
Bagna Cauda (Anchovy and Garlic Dip) is a classic Piedmont dish, best enjoyed with Grissini, Turin breadsticks. Bagna Cauda is easy to make, but if you want to do it right, you have to keep it simmering. Enjoy this dish with a Barbera del Monferrato DOC or a Dolcetto d'Acqui DOC, both Piedmont wines.
If your budget is unlimited why not try Brasato al Barolo (Braised Beef with Barolo) that calls for a bottle of this noble wine for two pounds of top round beef? Marinate the mixture for 12-24 hours. For a real treat, lard the meat with pancetta, Italian bacon, before marinating. Obviously Barolo DOCG is the first choice for the wine pairing. Other good choices are the Taurasi DOCG from Campania at the southern end of Italy or the Valtellina Superiore DOCG from neighboring Lombardy. Don't tell anybody, but I would be tempted to cook the beef in one of these other wines and drink the Barolo.
Can you guess what is the special ingredient in Risotto al Barolo? Make sure to use high-quality Italian rice, extra-virgin olive oil, and plenty of Parmesan cheese. The best news is that for each cup and a half of rice you use only half a cup of Barolo. So there will be plenty wine left to accompany this king of risottos.

By the way, the latter two wines aren't even based on the same grape. Aren't Italian wines fun?

You may also be focusing on the fact that they 'are not in your life yet.' This keeps your focus on what you don't have and pinches the flow of your vibrating energy and keeps them from coming to you.
Your job is to focus your thoughts on your desires and 'FEEL' them into your life. FEEL what it would be like to have all your desires and dreams in your life right now. FEEL the differences your desires and dreams will make in your life if you have them right now. FEEL how it will affect your family and friends when your desires manifest. FEEL what the rest of your life will be like.

1.) Understand that no matter what your position in life is right now you are ALLOWED to have all desires and dreams your mind can imagine. When you form desires and dreams in your mind and use FEELINGS to shape them, the Universe then WANTS to give you these same desires and dreams. That's it's job and how it all works. The Universe manifests them THROUGH YOU.
2.) Imagine your desires and dreams are like a flower seed. You plant the seed in your mind, focus your energy and attention on it often, water it with consistent thought and FEELINGS, and the Universe will grow the seeds into beautiful flowers for you.
3.) Once you create detailed desires and dreams your job is to find the right 'vibrations' to 'match' what you want. Vibrations are created by your FEELINGS. In other words, it's your job to use your powerful imagination to align your FEELINGS of already experiencing your desires/dreams in your life, which then creates the right 'vibrations' that causes the Universe to bring you what you want.
4.) These 'vibrations' created by your FEELINGS will cause the Universe to bring the people, situations, circumstances, and events into your life to make your desires/dreams a reality.
5.) Understand that your FEELINGS create 'vibrational energy' that FLOWS. You're either creating good energy right now or bad energy right now. You may be focusing way too much on the 'how' of attracting your desires and dreams. It is NOT your job to worry about 'how.' The Universe will take care of that for you. You may also be focusing on the fact that they 'are not in your life yet.' This keeps your focus on what you don't have and pinches the flow of your vibrating energy and keeps them from coming to you.
Your job is to focus your thoughts on your desires and 'FEEL' them into your life. FEEL what it would be like to have all your desires and dreams in your life right now. FEEL the differences your desires and dreams will make in your life if you have them right now. FEEL how it will affect your family and friends when your desires manifest. FEEL what the rest of your life will be like.
Use this 'game plan' to manifest your desires and dreams with FEELINGS...
1.) Understand that no matter what your position in life is right now you are ALLOWED to have all desires and dreams your mind can imagine. When you form desires and dreams in your mind and use FEELINGS to shape them, the Universe then WANTS to give you these same desires and dreams. That's it's job and how it all works. The Universe manifests them THROUGH YOU.
2.) Imagine your desires and dreams are like a flower seed. You plant the seed in your mind, focus your energy and attention on it often, water it with consistent thought and FEELINGS, and the Universe will grow the seeds into beautiful flowers for you.
3.) Once you create detailed desires and dreams your job is to find the right 'vibrations' to 'match' what you want. Vibrations are created by your FEELINGS. In other words, it's your job to use your powerful imagination to align your FEELINGS of already experiencing your desires/dreams in your life, which then creates the right 'vibrations' that causes the Universe to bring you what you want.
4.) These 'vibrations' created by your FEELINGS will cause the Universe to bring the people, situations, circumstances, and events into your life to make your desires/dreams a reality.
5.) Understand that your FEELINGS create 'vibrational energy' that FLOWS. You're either creating good energy right now or bad energy right now. When you focus your FEELINGS on 'what-is' (how things are right now) you will attract more of the same. Shift to focusing your FEELINGS on 'what-will-be' and you begin aligning the good energy vibrations to bring you what you want.
6.) ALLOWING happens when you are NOT RESISTING. You are ALLOWING when your FEELINGS are focused on what you want with intense belief your are going to have it. Using your imagination to have what you want in your mind makes it real for the Universe to bring it into your physical world. Stay DETACHED from needing it, focus on how wonderful it will be to have it.
7.) If DOUBT attempts to creep into your mind immediately kick it out. Doubt pinches the alignment of your good energy vibrations. The more you kick doubt out of your mind the less it will appear and will eventually disappear.
8.) Know that the Universe has an infinite number of unseen ways to bring you and your desires together when you stay in a 'state of allowing.' When you CHOOSE to simply 'allow' you become less 'attached' to your desires and they will flow to you quicker. When you CHOOSE to simply 'allow' doubt and resistance fade away.
Get it out of your brain that creating your desires/dreams is 'work' and begin to make it a 'game' you are fortunate to play. Stop thinking so much about what you don't have and begin to FEEL, with your heart and soul, how it will be when you have everything you want. Energy Drinks Can Be Dangerous If Overused
If there was one fundamental flaw with these drinks it would be that they are dangerous if you overuse them. Now I know that is not saying very much because almost anything can be dangerous if it is overused; candy bars, sodas, cheeseburgers and yes even some vitamins. So what makes this general knowledge so important when applied to energy drinks? It is simple. Energy drinks are widely marketed to people who kind of need to overuse them. People that are constantly under high physical and mental strain and need that energy boost throughout the day. Construction workers, food servers, architects, athletes, you name the job and the odds are that someone there, probably many people, will be looking for a second wind in a can.
Most energy drinks are by no means "good" for you. But like so many other things in life if you moderate it and give your body a chance to process it the negative effects should be nothing but rumors to you. Healthy Tips For Busy Moms
Being a mom is a wonderful, fulfilling and all consuming event. Just because you've become a parent, however, doesn't mean you don't deserve to look and feel your best! Remember despite becoming increasingly busy, you are still just as fabulous as you were before becoming a mom. Healthy habits are difficult to maintain in our fast-paced world because we expect every aspect of our lives to happen instantly. With all the technological resources we have at our finger tips we never have to wait for anything. One exception should be your health. Like it or not, waiting is what you have to do if you want to see changes in your health. There are so many changes you can make in your life that can help you get on the right track. I've written about some of my favorite ways to stay healthy, and I hope they work for you like they've worked for me.
1. Walking- This is one of the easiest activities you can do to get your health on the right path. Walk with a friend around your neighborhood, walk your dog to a local dog park, go on a walk with your kid(s) on a nature trail, or take your baby for a walk in a stroller. If you have the time I would suggest walking for an hour a day, but if you can only get out of the house a few times a week that's okay too. I was recently in Italy and every evening the locals would stroll the streets before dinner on what's call a passeggaiata (which is a slow walk). The entire family participates in these. Get your whole family to take a stroll before dinner. It will be a great way for everyone to bond, and you'll get some exercise!
2. Eat fiber- If you're really busy and just don't have a lot of time to snack all day, you should think about eating a fiber rich breakfast. My favorite thing to eat in the mornings is Quaker Oats Weight Control oatmeal. It's quick, easy, and they have different flavors. It has 6 grams of fiber, and, I kid-you-not, it keeps me satisfied for several hours! Now, I'm not telling you to starve yourself, so if your hungry go-ahead and eat some fruit. Another great benefit of fiber is that it lowers cholesterol and reduces your risk of heart disease.
3. Drink lots and lots of water- This is really important because you can't always distinguish between hunger and thirst cues. Keeping yourself hydrated throughout the day will prevent you from munching when you should be keeping hydrated. If you're not a big water drinker try Omega to Go. Just mix a packet in your water and you're ready to go! They taste terrific, and they're great for using in a water bottle.
4. Take the stairs- I know everyone has heard this before, but it's an excellent alternative if you can't make it to the gym everyday. If you work on the 50th floor, don't kill yourself hiking up all those steps. Instead, tell yourself you'll walk up or down 4 or 5 flight then take the elevator. Increase the number of flights you take by 1 every week or every two weeks. You'll forget that you're working out, and you'll have toned legs in no time!
5. Eat almonds- These are my absolute favorite in-between meal snack. Eating whole, raw almonds has many health benefits including lowering your cholesterol. Ignore the high calorie count and stick to about 2 ounces a day. Almonds are the perfect on-the-go snack. Just toss a handful or two in a bag and you're ready to go. Also try almond butter instead of peanut butter. It's delicious!
Stick to these small tips and you'll notice changes in yourself. From experience I've learned that once you start eating healthy and exercising a little, you'll love the way you feel so much you'll adopt new habits. You might notice that you choose healthier options in a restaurant as opposed to something you may have normally ordered. Don't give up because you deserve to feel like a goddess!

Thoracic Outlet Syndrome Types, Causes and Symptoms
Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, also known as TOS, is a compression of the brachial plexus and subclavian artery and vein. The brachial plexus supplies the upper limb with both sensory and motor nerve fibres, and the subclavian artery supplies the blood supply. There are four areas where the plexus and artery may be compressed and in each instance, the symptoms will present differently.
The part of the brachial plexus most likely to be affected is the medial cord, which originates from nerve roots C8 to T1.
Symptoms of Thoracic Outlet Syndrome:
Due to involvement of the medial cord of the brachial plexus, the ulnar nerve is most impacted by this compression syndrome. Muscles affected will be the Flexor Carpi Ulnaris, the ulnar aspect of the Flexor Digitorum Profundus, as well as most intrinsic (small) muscles of the hand. As a result, there will be some weakness or altered sensation on the ulnar aspect of the forearm, the hand and little finger. Signs and symptoms will vary, however, depending on the location of the compression and the structure involved.
Compression of a nerve will result in pain, loss of sensation and in chronic cases, muscle wasting or weakness. (this is known as denervation atrophy) Compression of blood vessels (subclavian or axillary arteries, depending on site of compression), will result in pain, paleness of the skin supplied by the artery, possible cyanosis (blue coloring) and decreased skin temperature. Prolonged decrease of blood supply can result in trophic skin changes, emboli (blood clots) and gangrene. Compression of a vein will result in edema, and the blood is unable to be carried back to the heart and lungs.
There are 4 main areas where compression may occur:
1) The anterior and middle scalene, a.k.a. the interscalene triangle. The brachial plexus and subclavian artery pass through here, but it is the medial cord of the plexus, arising from the C8-T1 nerve roots, which is most likely to be affected. (*note: the scalenes are classified as secondary muscles of respiration because they attach to the ribs and contract during respiration)
2) Pectoralis minor - compression will occur between the pectoralis minor and its insertion on the coracoid process of the scapula. A person who presents with hyperkyphosis (rounded, slumped shoulders) may be more inclined to have compression here, especially when the muscle is stretched (for example, when they straighten up). The pectoralis minor, by attaching on ribs 1-8, may be affected by any respiratory disorder, leading to hypertonicity of the muscle and subsequent compression of the subclavian artery as it becomes the axillary artery when it passes deep to the clavicle.
3) Costoclavicular - compression occurs between the 1st rib and the clavicle. This is most likely to be a result of injury to the clavicle, such as a break or dislocation, and is prone to affect the vasculature (as the axillary vein becomes the subclavian vein)
4) Presence of a cervical rib - the presence of an extra rib is determined by an x-ray, and it interferes with the size of the interscalene triangle, therefore allowing less room for the plexus and vasculature.
The borders of the thoracic outlet are:
posteriorly (the back) the body of vertebrae T1 laterally the 1st rib bilaterally
anteriorly - manubrium of the sternum
Structures passing through the Thoracic Outlet
The brachial plexus, subclavian arteries and veins.The muscles involved in this syndrome are the anterior and middle scalenes, pectoralis minor and the subclavius.
Who is at risk for Thoracic Outlet Syndrome?
Thoracic Outlet Syndrome usually affects people whose posture tends to be very forward and slumping. Think of a person who sits at a desk all day, or who does a lot of work moving forward (or a massage therapist!). Others at risk may also have "military posture", extreme retraction of the shoulders which pulls the pectorialis minor tight over the plexus and artery, thus compressing it. Also at risk are people who have had a broken or dislocated clavicle, especially those with a more complicated or compounded break. Due to the attachment of the scalenes and pectoralis minor on the ribs, people who have a respiratory disorder and difficulty breathing often recruit these muscles, thus increasing the incidence of hypertonicity, and the presence of myofascial trigger points.
Thoracic Outlet Syndrome or Raynaud's Disease?
The therapist, during the course of performing orthopedic tests for TOS, will look for a positive test of a decreased or absent pulse, as well as numbness and tingling or fatigue in the ulnar distribution of the forearm and hand. Raynaud's Disease presents similarly, but is a peripheral vascular disorder which occurs due to vasospasm and results in decreased circulation. For Raynaud's disease to be diagnosed, it must be followed closely by a physician for 2 years and manifest as decreased circulation and increased sensitivity of the arms and hands.
How can massage therapy be used to treat Thoracic Outlet Syndrome?
Massage therapy can provide valuable assistance to someone suffering from TOS, either as a stand-alone treatment, or in conjunction with other modalities (i.e. physiotherapy or chiropractic).
Wherever the location of compression, the therapist will attempt to decrease hypertonicity and myofascial trigger points of the involved muscles as well as stretching. Manual lymph drainage can assist in the reduction of fluid build up post treatment. It will also be necessary to retrain the client concerning proper posture.After the treatment plan concludes, it would be wise to encourage the client to continue stretching, and also to schedule maintenance appointments to prevent a relapse.
